LIBRARIES ENCOURAGE

The Friends of the Library organizations support our libraries by providing partnership and volunteering in their communities.

Our Jackson County Libraries are fortunate to have an active Friends group at many of our 15 branches! Friends groups work tirelessly to raise funds, most commonly through book sales events, and in Medford’s case, in their book shop. Through these efforts they are able to offer support to the library by providing and enhancing services such as guest authors, guest speakers, and even going out to community events to build awareness.
