The Jackson County Library Foundation accepts donations from individuals, foundations, businesses, clubs and organization. All contributions – large and small – work to improve our library today and into the future. Please consider a tax-deductible gift today. There are many ways to give: Endowment Fund JCLF accepts bequests, trusts, transfers of stock and property from donors to the endowment fund. The foundation currently manages permanent and restricted funds to provide ongoing support for library collections, programs, technology, and enhancement needs. A permanent endowment generates stability for many programs and provides a source of funds for future generations. Buy-A-Shelf Support your local branch library this way! Donations of $100 receive a permanent engraved plaque in lasting recognition. You can purchase a shelf plaque as recognition for someone, in your family name, or to honor birthdays, celebrations, anniversaries, memorials, graduations or any special occasion. We place the plaque in the library branch that you designate, and a portion of the proceeds then fund purchases at that libraries discretion. To Buy-A-Shelf, please fill out the form you can find in every Jackson County library branch, click here or call the Foundation office at 541.774.6572 or or contact Shelley using our contact form and we’ll mail you one.
