Establish an Endowment fund in your name with the Jackson County Library Foundation. Even small and moderate gifts to The Foundation can become sizable contributions. When you contribute to the Foundation’s Endowment fund, your gift is held in a fund from which only the interest income is ever spent, not your original gift. By spending only the interest, your contribution results in annual payments, even if you don’t give again every year. The Jackson County Library Foundation manages an Endowment of roughly $1.8 million. The Endowment provides the libraries in Jackson county with resources to meet the future needs as costs fluctuate, buildings need enhancement and maintenance, technology upgrades become necessary and programs and services are expanded or created.
