The Jackson County Library is a treasure of knowledge and resources. Through your support, our library will flourish, providing a high level of excellence in art, collections, technology, materials, and programs.

The Jackson County Library Foundation accepts donations from individuals, foundations, businesses, clubs, and organizations. All of your contributions - whether large or small - work to improve our library today and in the future. Please consider a tax-deductible gift today.

The Foundation has also been remembered in the wills of former patrons who chose to bequest a legacy to the library. By including the library in your will, you will be able to stengthen the library for many years to come and to help educate the children of the future. For information on bequests, contact your legal counsel or call the Foundation at 774-6572.

You can give an unrestricted gift that allows the Foundation to address changing Library needs, and/or may choose to select a naming opportunity in our Capital Campaign. Gifts can be made through cash contributions, bequests or transfers of stock or other property.

Here are some other ways you can contribute to the Jackson County Library System:


  • Donate your time and expertise to your library branch through volunteering.
  • Buy your library a subscription to a popular magazine.
  • Donate a book...or a whole shelf of books. Check out the Read and Release program.
