The Jackson County Library Foundation has established an Endowment Partners Program with the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF), which will meet expected and unexpected needs in the library system for many years to come.

By investing their endowment with the Oregon Community Foundation, the Library Foundation has created an opportunity for many individuals to donate to the Foundation through the Oregon Community Foundation. The OCF has extensive information on estate planning and charitable gift planning and can be reached at (541) 773-8987.

The Endowment Partners Program with the OCF will provide the Foundation and the Jackson County libraries with much-needed resources in coming years to meet rising costs, to upgrade technology, maintain building enhancements, and provide services and educational programs.

The Foundation Endowment Program makes annual contributions to Library Outreach, Children's Storytelling, Summer Reading Programs, and a host of other programs. Services the Library Foundation Endowment will help support include:

  • Summer Reading Program, for children
    ages 0 - 12 and for Teens
  • Preschool Story time in the library
  • Outreach to Childcare
  • Storytelling at the Library
  • Book talking to Grades 6 - 8, countywide
  • Class Visits to the Library
  • Outreach to the Homebound, to individuals and to group facilities
  • Art in the Library
  • Jackson County Reads
  • Babies in the Library
